Yes, All Watercolors are free of toxins. Each pigment is locally foraged from rocks & soils, or ethically sourced around the world. Some pigments are man-made (Manufactured mineral pigments) which makes them a great alternative to cadmium colors. Natural binders are used such as Gum Arabic, Clove Oil, and honey.
Our binder consists of Gum Arabic, Local Honey, Essential Clove Oil, and distilled water. Vegetable Glycerin can be substituted for vegan half-pans and palettes, please message us to request this. (Production time and price of product requests will be discussed in email.)
Currently there are no Vegan half-pans, however they will be coming to the Shop soon!
Custom Palettes are made to order. If the available inventory is present to customize your palette it will be packaged and shipped within 3-4 days.
If a request for a palette requires colors that are not in the current inventory the order will take 3-4 weeks to make. Handmade watercolors will need the extra time to allow for proper curing.
All in stock orders are shipped within 3-4 business days of transaction. Custom palettes may take up to 3-4 weeks if new watercolors are handmade specifically for the order.
All orders will be shipped via USPS Standard Mail.
We currently have shipping rates set for Canada, Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
If you reside outside of the United States send us an email to discuss shipping costs. Please send your city and zipcode in the email so we may calculate your shipping costs and work together to get you your supplies!
Some countries also charge government taxes on customs. Redbud Pigment Co. is not responsible for these costs. Please be aware of your current countries fees on picking up orders from customs. Each country is different.

Our handmade watercolors are made in small batches, which means sometimes inventory gets low. We try to update the shop every month to keep up with the high demand. Making sure you’re on the Newsletter list will help with notifications when we update inventory.

We do our best to package all of our products safely with added buffers to deter damage. However, if your package arrives damaged please email us and let us know!
DO NOT OPEN package. We ask that you take photos of the damaged package and email them to us so that we can assess the damage and discuss returning. If the package is opened this makes making a claim with USPS void and a return/refund will not be given.
